3 more days before it is one of those special days in our lives...for some, it would be just like any other day but for others, it would be a day of celebration. Yup, it's Father's Day, 2009 on Sun 21st June!
Now, what is Father's Day?
According to Wikipedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fathers_day ) :
"Father's Day is a celebration inaugurated in the early twentieth century to complement Mother's Day in celebrating fatherhood and male parenting, and to honor and commemorate fathers and forefathers. Father's Day is celebrated on a variety of dates worldwide and typically involves gift-giving, special dinners to fathers, and family-oriented activities".So what really IS Father's Day to you? As a father yourself? Or... as the wife to a man who is the father of your children? Or maybe...as a son/a daughter?
Maybe it would be a great idea for you to answer those questions...? Sincerely...from the heart? And then I could compile your answers and post an entry just before that day? If there are no opinions expressed, then perhaps I could make only my own views known? Then maybe...you could either agree or disagree with my points?
Ok...let's give the issue a couple of days for you all to toss it around in your minds & your hearts and hopefully put it down in writing here.

Whatever you believe or think of a rainbow, it's certainly a great sight to behold. A beautiful one. A wonder of nature. Don't you agree?
