Yup, it's a happy evening...that was last night.
And yup, both inmates of Lot 10 attended the wedding reception of a former student of mine (taught her in Form 3 like eons ago...hehe...). And my! There were lots of balloons & confetti being shot now & then! Not forgetting the entertainment provided by the non-stop "karaoke" guests...

And guess what? It rained after the reception started and the rain stopped before the dinner ended! Just great, huh? Keeping one & all cool & cosy in the reception hall...
That was last night.
This morning was a different story. It's been raining heavily early in the morning but luckily the rain stopped for a while. However, it's raining once more as me am making this entry.
A minor flash flood had brought the rain-water into our porch but not as bad as the worst that had occcured previously. Both inmates were ready to put up our prepared "barrier" parts (pls see an earlier entry) but which we didn't have to....yet!
Can you see my little "boat" sailing on the "lake" waters? Haha!Sincerely hope we really don't have to....
Well, so far so good for this weekend. Owing to the wedding reception last night, Cine Nite for Sat evening of this weekend was postponed to tonight. Wonder what movie our "boss" gonna pick to watch....
Latest news re our good friend, Mr L, is encouraging. It appears that his mobility & speech has improved. Moreover I was informed that he does not feel so tired now as he was a few days back. We are praying hard for you, Mr L....you are not alone in your fight!
Let's all hope & pray that there'll be better & more happy news in the days, weeks & months to come...
